THE WAY TO CHRIST CONSCIOUS LEADERSHIP  

The story of humanity is an adventure filled with passionate, faith-filled testimonies to the Eternal Absolute, a primal source that defines our ideals and values, our yearning for unity, and our inherent sense of our indwelling divinity. Whether a culture views the Eternal Absolute as pantheistic or monotheistic, as a powerful, personified natural force, or as a supreme being, the Christ always represents the most revered ideals of that culture: irrefutable Truth, unconditional Love, supreme Wisdom, infinite Freedom, eternal Life, and inherent, divine Unity, life without duality, the Alpha and the Omega of all existence.

THE WAY TO CHRIST CONSCIOUS LEADERSHIP is a five-step process for our conscious evolution, for achieving and manifesting Christ consciousness in our interactions with each other and with our environment.

• Unity – The First Step

Drawing upon the lessons in the Gospels and other sacred literature, as well as exploring the latest understanding of universal law provided by the quantum physicists, this step brings us to an awareness of the oneness of all existence and transforms the way we perceive ourselves and relate to others. This is the first and most critical step in becoming a Christ conscious leader.

We cannot say, “I hate my brother,” and say, at the

same time, “I love God.” Regardless of theology, faith

formation, or religious practices, we are all created

by the One.

• Love – The Second Step

How can we become receptive to Divine Love in our lives, and how can we become a vehicle of Divine Love for others? Answering these questions is the second and vital step in becoming a Christ conscious leader.

• Detachment – The Third Step

Many familiar and ingrained habits and thoughts keep us tied to old perceptions of reality and block our ability to evolve consciously. Detachment from those influences that impede transformation and growth is the third and pivotal step in preparing us to become Christ conscious leaders.

his mind and character cling.

• Commitment – The Fourth  Step

Once detached from the chains that bind us, we are free to discover our life’s work and to discern God’s purpose in our lives. Making a commitment to fulfill that purpose and to continually transform and grow is the fourth and decisive step in preparing us to take action as Christ conscious leaders.

Those who serve other masters besides God may be

compared to the spider which builds a cobweb for itself.  

Surely the spider’s is the frailest of all dwellings, if they

but knew it.

• Action – The Fifth Step

In discerning our unique purpose and answering our individual call to action, we can each transform our world.  In this fifth and final step, as we become Christ conscious leaders, we experience the personal fulfillment of doing our life’s work and the joy of contributing to a sustainable and lasting  global peace.

As you begin to engage in the process of becoming a Christ Conscious leader, you may find it helpful to assess your current stage of Christ conscious leadership development. 

To start, read the statements listed under each of the four stages below and determine which group of statements aligns most closely with your current motivations and perceptions.

After you have determined which of the four stages above most closely aligns with your current motivations and perceptions, consider what your personal goals will be as a student in the course, Becoming a Christ Conscious Leader, or as a client in individual consultation with one of our Associates.  

You will have an opportunity to discuss this assessment and your goals with your instructor in the individual intake conference before beginning the course or before beginning a series of individual consultations.

Our life and career choices begin to take shape the day we are born. On that day, we begin to form our sense of who we are and who we should become through the reflections that we receive from our families and our communities. In fact, our families and our communities become our mirrors, and the way they relate to us begins to define our image of ourselves.

In today’s society, we also form our sense of who we are and who we should become through the images that bombard us from the media and the movies. Rarely searching inside ourselves to find out who we are and what our life’s purpose is, we allow our childhood experiences and and the people we see on television and on the movie screens to determine our dreams and expectations for ourselves.

And, so, we begin to desire other people’s lives – without ever coming to know ourselves.  We begin to want what others have without ever discovering the gifts we have. And many of us spend our entire lives seeking to be like someone else, to have what someone else has – convinced that we need what others have for our own happiness – and then becoming despondent when – for some reason – and we tell ourselves all kinds of reasons – we never can seem to become what these other people seem to be, and we never can seem to have what these other people seem to have.

working to reinforce the competitive world that is stifling

Like the established career path that many of us follow, our spiritual path is often a continual reinforcement of established expectations, perceptions, and learned behaviors that are so much a part of us and our routines that we often are unaware of what we are doing. Yet these expectations, perceptions, and learned behaviors influence all our thoughts and actions and can keep us from growing spiritually, from becoming more intimate with God and more attuned to our indwelling divinity.

At the Center for Christ Conscious Leadership, you can embark on an individual process of spiritual growth:
